IST attends ASME Turbo Expo 2023 in Boston
The Institute of Jet Propulsion and Turbomachinery attended the world's largest conference on turbomachinery and propulsion technology in Boston, where it presented four technical presentations.
The Jet Propulsion and Turbomachinery Institute attended this year's ASME Turbo Expo in Boston. The world's largest turbomachinery and power transmission conference was held June 26-30, 2023, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts. More than 1,000 technical presentations covered the latest research findings on a wide range of topics from the world of turbomachinery.
The IST itself participated in the conference with four technical presentations from the research areas of centrifugal compressors and development of CFD methods. The associated papers will be published in due course.
In addition to the many technical discussions at the conference, the visit to the city of Boston was of course not neglected, and so we returned to Aachen with many new impressions from the USA. We are already looking forward to the ASME Turbo Expo 2024 in London!
